Information, Advice and Advocacy

The Information, Advice and Advocacy (IAA) service at Equal Lives is for disabled people, those experiencing mental health problems and anyone experiencing disabling barriers as well as family members or carers. Our friendly team offer a telephone and email enquiry service providing information on rights and entitlements, challenging decisions and how to access services. We can help with queries around welfare benefits, mental health and social care.

As well as information and advice we offer lots of different types of support such as Advocacy and Benefit Appointments, please visit the relevant pages to find out more.

Advice Line
You can call and speak to one of our team to get information and advice between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on Bank Holidays.

If we are unable to help with your query, we will try to signpost you somewhere that can.

Please note that we try to answer our calls as quickly as we can but during busy periods there may be a short wait to speak to someone. You can leave us a voicemail message and we will get back to you, or you can request for us to call you by emailing info@equallives.org.uk

Email addresses for the different departments you might need are listed below. You can also message us on Facebook Messenger by visiting https://www.facebook.com/equallives.org/

Please note that responses to emails and Facebook messages will be dealt with in our usual office opening hours
